About the Author
Naomi Judd became pregnant in her teens; was forced into an early abusive marriage, a divorce, and single motherhood in her twenties; lived on welfare and worked her way to earn an RN degree in her thirties; and, with her daughter Wynonna, realized the improbable fantasy of country music fame in her forties. Then, when it seemed as if she had everything to celebrate-including a loving husband and the success of both her beautiful daughters, Wynonna and Ashley-she was diagnosed with Hepatitis C, a potentially fatal chronic liver disease that forced her retirement.
