Anointing with Oil (Understanding " Spirituals ")

Using anointing oil to minister to people is a controversialissue among believers. Some believers detest its use somuch that they walk out of meetings when it is used. The aimof this book is to give us biblical insight into the purpose of theanointing oil and how it can be used for the edification andblessing of believers. With regard to this subject we don’t haveto condemn others for their position.It is scriptural to use anointing oil in ministration but notmandatory. The law of liberty allows those whose faith isenhanced by the use of the oil to use it and those whose faithdoes not require it not to use it. Those who use it are not morespiritual than those who don’t use it and those who don’t use itdon’t necessarily have more faith in the Word of God thanthose who use it.
